Strung Out!!

Strung Out!!
Artist Noreen O'Donoghue
Noreen O'Donoghue has recorded one of the few easy to listen to (and enjoy) harp albums!

She has featured previously on approx 30 albums as a highly regarded session musician with Sinead O'Connor, Phil Coulter and many Traditional Artists yet this is her first solo CD.

Noreen has been a member of Oisin, Bakerswell and Fisherstreet, touring Europe and USA along the way.

This album contains a variety of music old and new. John Sheahan of the Dubliners has written two of the compositions - The Midnight Oil and Feathered Gael. There are also pieces written by Charlie Lennon, Finbar Dwyer and John Brady, three airs and a French waltz.

Well worth having in your music collection. In the words of Sean Potts, "The harp has travelled a long and eventful journey in Irish music. Noreen O'Donoghue is a musician who has helped steer it back into the tradition. I wish my friend and long-time companion in music every success with this wonderful recording".
